With the enactment of Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, companies face detailed obligations governing how personal data must be processed and safeguarded. Since the law’s introduction, Gümüştaş Attorneys at Law has guided clients through every stage of compliance—mapping data inventories, drafting privacy notices, securing explicit consents where needed, registering data controllers with VERBIS and establishing robust security protocols.
